Hosted Venues
Raund - Northhampton
This was our first Hosted Venue of the year. Mark and Laura run Motorcycle Republic, a motorbike service and repair workshop operating on the outskirts of Raund just of the A45. Mark is a skilled motorbike mechanic with a reputation for quality work and a personal approach to his customers. Both keen motorbikers themselves, not only can you book your bike in for Mark to service, they also sell service kits and run day courses from their Bike Barn for those who want to service and work on their bikes themselves, complete with bike benchs and tools to do the job. Despite appalling weather on the day, riders turned up to bring their bikes in for ACF-50 treatment, with some having booked in with Mark for a service at the same time. After setting up the equipment, work began on washing and drying the bikes prior to the spray treatment and waxing. While we worked away, riders enjoyed the supply of tea, coffee and bacon butties put on by Laura.
"What a terriffic day, even though it rained for most of it there was a great atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy the experience. Business was brisk for Mark servicing several of the bikes and Roy from AllYear Biker turned out more clean bikes than you'd get in a showroom. This was such a successful day we've said we're more than happy to host more Venues for the year. Looking forward to the next one."
Mark and Laura - Motorcycle Republic
To find out more about the service and facilities offered by Mark and Laura visit here Newbury - Berkshire Nigel and Debz offered the facility of their rear yard area and double garage to host the Newbury Venue. Bookings for this event soon filled and on the day riders arrived from the local area, London and as far away as Devon! Although a little chilly the sun as least shone this time. With the space available in the garage Motorcycle Republic once again offered servicing to those who wanted it from their mobile workshop, with one bike even having a complete chain and sprocket replacement. Once again the tea and coffee flowed while everyone got together for a chat and introduce themselves to new faces. Work quickly began on washing down and preparing the bikes for ACF-50 treatment. With more bikes booked into this venue, each was allocated a time slot for treatment which also avoided the area becoming a bike park. One of the pleasing things about these events is the great social atmosphere, there's no noisy or rowdy behaviour with everyone respecting both the host and their property. "Crackin' weekend, I'm glad everyone enjoyed it and was pleased with the results. We're more than happy to host another one and it was especially good to see that all the bikes, Mark's bench and Roy's service kit would fit OK, now we know there's room we can be a bit more orderly next time. Some pictures to give you an idea of what's involved for Roy's AllYearBiker cleaning and ACF50 treatment service. Basically, the bikes were jetwashed in our back yard, then dried and wheeled into the garage for the ACF50 spraying. We also cleared out a corner of the garage for Mark as he had come down to do a bit of service work for a few of us as well." "Thanks to everyone who came along, it was great to have so many of you round. Big thanks to Mark for battling with my #1 spark plug, Laura for the bacon butties and last but not least Roy for travelling all that distance to clean some very dirty bikes! Shame there wasn't time to do my Fazer - perhaps we'll have to make it a two-day event next time? - but my Aprilia Tuono now looks stunning"

"Lovely to meet you all - my bike is the cleanest I've ever seen it"
Huge - Swindon
"I would like to add my thanks to Nigel, Debz, Roy, Mark and Laura for the help and hospitality shown throughout the day. Even though my round trip was around 300 miles it was pretty insignificant when compared with the distances travelled by the professionals"
Mark - Ottery St Mary
"Enjoyed getting the bike done. I'd recommend AllYearBikers, very happy with my treatment. Wish I had done this years ago when the bike was new but I am sure it can only be beneficial at any time. Anybody that's not had it done should."
"I'd been thinking about doing a clean/ ACF treatment on my bike for a while, but held off because (being new to this biking lark) I wasn't sure exactly what to do/ how to do it and didn't want to make a big mess of it! But for a very reasonable fee I got the bike washed, cleaned, polished and ACF treated and I can see that, had I tried to do it myself, I probably would have messed things up (or, at least, not done a very good job).

"I have been using ACF50 for a few years now, but the service that Roy offers is above any work I have done myself. He deep cleans the bikes, nice blow dry as well. He takes time to cover all areas that won't be too happy to have ACF on them, then goes about misting the ACF50 into all areas of the bike. I for sure have never done in and around the electricals under the seat etc, he then makes sure all delicate areas are also treated by hand. And a nice polish as well. The products used are of a high standard, Autoglym, ACF50 etc so no expense spared either.

"I ride my bike everyday so don't have time to clean it as often as I'd like. However, this doesn't mean that I don't want to look after it and with AllYearBiker's service I now can. My bike was thoroughly cleaned and dried, and it was a state, before being given a very generous coating of ACF50, professionally applied. I used to joke that there was a decent bike under the dirt, now I can say it with confidence.

A few comments from some happy customers
"I had this treatment done in November. In 3 months of winter riding I've rinsed the bike twice. Most dirt falls off the bike, and as yet not one corroded fastener. If you ride through winter or not, get this treatment done. Your bike will thank you for it."

Roy has done a great job on the Street Triple, it looked like new when he had finished.
On the way home I got caught in a few rain , sleet and snow showers , what with that and the gritter lorries throwing their crap all over the place , when I finally made it home I could have cried It had gone from looking like new to looking like a rat bike. The bike was in a right state, it was filthy. After I thawed out, I went about the bike with a bucket and sponge to get the worst of the crap off, I intended to clean it properly tomorrow, but after a few minutes, a rub here and a wipe there, the road dirt just seemed to disappear, it was back looking like new again. The ACF50 really works. I am well impressed with the ACF50 treatment and I would recommend it. Normally a bike in that condition would have taken me a couple of hours to clean, I know because I've done it. But this afternoon it took me no longer than 10 minutes to wash it and wipe it down. It would probably have been quicker if I had used the pressure washer. I wish I'd known about this stuff years ago, it would have saved me much time and many grazed knuckles. So if any of you are thinking about getting this done, do it, best £45 spent in ages.
