ACF-50 teatment carried out before putting your bike into storage will provide up to 12 months protection with no further treatment neccessary.

If you ride all year round, unexposed areas of the bike will remain protected for up to 12 months. Exposed areas can be simply rinsed off to remove road dirt. Regularly washing and the use of detergents on these 'exposed' sections will eventually wash off the ACF-50 and they will need re-coating. This can be seen when water no longer beads off. Re-coating these exposed sections is a quick and simple DIY process which we'll demonstrate during treatment.

Initial rinse to loosen dirt and prepare surfaces for cleaner.
Degreaser spray applied to chain and heavily contaminated areas.
Wash down.
Spray with Autoglym Motorbike Cleaner. This is agitated to remove traffic film, road salt, brake dust etc.
Wash down.
Towel and air dried.
Wheels, brakes and handlebar grips are bagged and sealed. Seat removed.
ACF-50 is misted into all areas of the engine block, frame and electrics.
After a few minutes standing to allow ACF-50 to penetrate, the bags are removed and the wheels and brake calipers are hand wiped to apply ACF-50.
Seat replaced and bike checked to ensure all areas are treated and no ACF-50 is on the brake or wheel discs.
Chain re-lubricated.
Autoglym Super Resin Polish is applied to panels and fairings (where fitted).

Cleaning the bike prior to applying ACF-50 is done in order to remove any dirt, and give the coating process the best conditions to adhere. This is not a valeting service
